The Aotearoa New Zealand Federation of Tamil Sangam (ANTS) is hosting its inaugural Tamil conference in New Zealand to promote the Tamil heritage, language and culture link and showcase and establish stronger connect of the Tamil community within New Zealand and the Tamil diaspora globally.
The 2 – day conference scheduled for 11 – 12 November 2022, at the Lower Hutt Event Centre, will have both national and international speakers and a panel discussion. Local and international scholars, media practitioners, activists, and prominent Tamil personalities share their knowledge about Tamil history, language, culture and literature. The two-day conference will culminate in a Black-tie Gala Dinner with cultural performances and community awards.
