1. Introduction

1.1 Infini Recruitment is bound by the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand) privacy legislation. Privacy and confidentiality is key to our business. Infini Recruitment is committed to ensuring that any Personal Information you provide to us is held and used only in accordance with the privacy principles contained in the Privacy Act 2020.

1.2 This policy sets out how we collect, use, disclose and protect your Personal Information.

By providing your Personal Information to us, including by accessing our products or services, visiting our website or engaging with us on Social Media, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and that you agree to its terms. In particular, you give your consent to the processing of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.

When you use or register with the Site (www.infinirecruitment.co.nz), we may collect certain information that identifies you as an individual or relates to an identifiable individual (“Personal Information”). The categories of Personal Information we may collect include:

3.1 With respect to visitors of the Site, we collect the following categories of information from your browser or directly from you when you visit our Site:

  • Internet activity, such as your browsing activity on the Site, your IP address, cookies, installed plug-ins, and geolocation data
  • Identifiers if you wish to download certain reports or presentations, in which case you will need to provide your first and last name and email

3.2 With respect to job applicants and Candidates we collect the following categories of information from you:

  • Identifiers, such as your name and contact information (email, address (mailing and home) and phone number), and any login ID or email address and password created by you
  • Professional or employment-related information, such as your job search criteria and preferences, your availability to work, your employment experience, educational history, your skills, reference information, background check information, pay / compensation expectations, your ability to work in New Zealand and other information provided by you or contained in your resume.
  • Emergency contact information consisting of full name and phone number for contractors
  • This information can be collected over the phone, in person, and/or via electronic means.

·         When conducting reference checks, information is also collected from from other parties, with your express consent.

3.3 With respect to Clients/Customers, we collect the following categories of Personal Information from you or from our service providers such as job boards:

  • Identifiers such as your name, business phone number, and work email
  • Professional or employment-related information such as your company name, department, and job title
  • Information protected against security breaches such as bank and payment information if we render services to you, depending on how you elect to pay for services rendered

3.4 With respect to independent contractors, we collect the following categories of Personal Information from you:

·         Identifiers such as your name, business phone number, email

·         Professional or employment-related information such as your company name

  • Information protected against security breaches such as bank account information, so we can pay you for providing services to Infini Recruitment

4. Use and disclosure of Personal Information

4.1 We will use your Personal Information to register you with the Site, to provide you with information regarding employment opportunities and career related information, to provide you recruitment, consulting and contracting services, to manage our relationship with you, for administration a

nd invoicing purposes, and to provide you with any other related requested information or services.

4.2 We may be required to share your Personal Information with prospective employers to deliver our services.

4.3 Analytics purposes - We use third-party analytics providers such as Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect and analyze information about use of the Services and report on activities and trends. Google Analytics may also collect information regarding the use of other websites, apps and online resources. You can learn about Google’s practices by going to www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/, and opt out by downloading the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. 

4.4 Site Security: We use the reCAPTCHA service provided by Google to protect the Site and your submissions via internet submission forms on this Site. reCAPTCHA uses the following to evaluate your use of the Site: IP address, your device type and information about your device, cookies placed on your device (such as from Google), language and date information, installed plug-ins, and javascript objects. Your use of reCAPTCHA on the Site is subject to the Google Terms and Privacy Policy.

4.5 We will not share your Personal Information without your consent, unless required by law

4.6. Infini Recruitment will not sell, assign or rent your Personal Information

5. Accessing and correcting your Personal Information

5.1 You have the right to know and access the information we hold about you, and the right to ask us to correct it if you believe it is wrong.

5.2 Infini Recruitment may continue to hold your Personal Information collected during the process of providing services to you, and may use it in the future to consider you for new positions. In case you would like us to delete your Personal Information, you can do so by sending us an email on info@infinirecruitment.co.nz

6. Security of your Personal Information

6.1  Infini Recruitment has put in place reasonable and appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the Personal Information we collect. Your Personal Information is stored in a secure environment and is accesses only by authorised persons.  

6.3 Given the nature of the internet we cannot guarantee security of information transmitted through the internet. We will do our best to protect your personal data, however any transmission is at your own risk.
